This sis a Tanka which is a Japanese form of poetry.

is it in love too?
This fierce ocean that
rushes to the shore
And softly kisses the sand
A million times over

Solitude

Sitting by myself
in this little glade
deep in the arms of nature
I find my lost soul
Oh, I am not alone
I have myself for company
No pressures of the world
No need to be someone
No one expects me to be good
Including myself
Oh, the bliss of solitude
is hearing yourself clearly
the needs of self
buried in the pressures
of living
come to the fore and
are indulged

Ahhh I love just being alone
this once in a while
Getting to know myself
Before I face the world again
To make my decisions alone
and think out the thoughts in solitude
The magic of solitude works on me
and brings me in touch with the me
inside of me
